@lfdons@OfficialCutzy cop out for ea. the reason this kind of play is possible is because they refuse to put any mechanics into the game to fix it. midfielders should defend instead of floating around watching. there should be some sort of dribbling stamina as well
This play epitomizes why I chart the games.
Justin Herbert drops this PERFECT, elite deep ball into Quentin Johnsons's chest, who yet again DROPS the ball right into the defenders hands for an interception, and now Herbert's stat line looks awful.
Numbers always lie.
@reinpro@DidierDarin@Brendan_Tobin defender can absolutely face guard and does not need to turn his head. he just can’t impede the receiver while doing so. refs are just shit now so that’s what they turned dpi into. also think this was a bs opi call. it is very minimal contact
@____TJ_______@fyithetruth@Rory_Talks_Ball completely wrong. they can only review because it is a potential goal. their check is whether it’s a goal or not, not solely whether haaland is offside
@fyithetruth@Rory_Talks_Ball at no point when measuring haaland did they acknowledge enzo’s existence at all. so odd bc the first thing i (and i assume most people) do when watching a replay for offside is identify all players in an offside position and checking if they affect play
@fcbdaniii@Rory_Talks_Ball listen how many times VAR is going on about speeding the process up. so worried about taking too long that they fuck up the call on a game state-changing goal lol clearly they’ve been pressured on how long they’re taking which is all well and good but you have to get it right
DeSean Jackson's older brother made the Chiefs practice squad—then quit football, picked up a camera, and spent the next 35 years filming his little brother.
Pop Warner. Long Beach Poly. Cal. The Eagles.
Thousands of hours of home video nobody outside that family has ever seen.
Their dad told DeSean to "think NFL." He finished with 26 career TDs of 60+ yards—still the NFL record, and nobody's close.

@fcbleolamine@afczinoooo@Sp1thfc ref was just horrendous today and was lucky the football was good enough it wasn’t too noticeable. couldn’t decide if he was going to be lenient or strict the entire match. rice/palmer no yellows but giving ricky tacky bs at times throughout the match.
