@NymphUrban@JennyENicholson out of the same deep and conscious cultural evil behind any killing and eating animals in modern civilization, as seen here
@DoomsdayReels @JohnDiesattheEn And there's nothing wrong with that - you both did exactly the right thing there.
This is why the people saying "We just have to trust that our GP knows what they're doing." are a loss - a healthy doctor/patient relationship includes *both* parties being proactive and receptive.
@BoatScarecrow @JohnDiesattheEn Nah you don't. And you wouldn't trust a plumber who wanted to replace your pipes with lead or a mechanic who wanted to cap your exhaust pipe either - you'd say "I'm neither a pro nor a conspiracy guy, but I have enough reliable info on the dangers there to need a second opinion."
@JohnDiesattheEn The need to stay alive and get better >>>> The need to never hurt a physician's ego by Googling vital info they didn't know and which could cause you to not get better or die.
@IFSvids@everyvote_prize @JohnDiesattheEn Absolutely. People cannot spend decades whining that it's unfair to expect doctors to know every possible combo of symptoms, side-effects and med interactions, and then continue whining that it's unfair to outsource the field of diagnostic medicine to A.I.s.
Though they will.
@everyvote_prize @JohnDiesattheEn No we don't - we expect them to LISTEN to us when we give first-hand descriptions of years of symptoms they studied for two days in preMed, or when they insist a prescription has no side-effects/addictive potential despite exhaustive accredited online resources saying otherwise.
@everyvote_prize@BoatScarecrow @JohnDiesattheEn "Ripped off?" It's literally your life on the line - doctors routinely dismiss serious symptoms, prevent proper treatment, or prescribe meds while ignorant of the well-documented side-effects and risks. They're a resource to get proactive with, not a cure-all to blindly trust.
@criner_joy@itsgoingbrown1@NikkiFried@cuzkristoff Are you serious?
We did. Nothing got better. Blue parties will not be there to save you from the jackboots any more than Red, no matter how many we vote in.
The tsunami that saves America will be all the colors of the fleshtone rainbow surging through the streets, or nothing.
@itsgoingbrown1@NikkiFried@cuzkristoff When they officially take away our right to vote and cancel any future elections, we'll still have more people shouting "This is why we need to go out and VOTE for our rights back next election!" than we'll have people participating in riots and revolution.
@EricaIleneNJ @NikkiFried It's eerie to watch the mom just yell not to resist & tell the kid she's "with" her as the kid is taken away by these bad men, alone.
People swore for YEARS that the bad guys wouldn't be able to go this far, because the good guys would get violent. Yet here we are and nothing.
@CapriMilanRome @EricaIleneNJ @NikkiFried Just letting you know up front - no matter how many voters you have in coalition, the system will absolutely not permit you to vote for anybody who will fix the situation seen in this video or the issues that lead to it.
So with that in mind, what's the new plan?
@KathiUpdike@NikkiFried What do you mean how?
It's a fascist country, the cops can do whatever they want. Can literally break into your house & shoot you dead with no cause & no consequences; arresting a protestor is a layup. This will all happen more & more until people get real about fighting back.
@fitandspicy @ponekepono @NikkiFried then the walking sacks of shit you call cops SHOULDN'T HAVE ARRESTED HER.
The police, and people like YOU are the threat to her, not her parents for letting her fight back against your diseased values and mind
@fitandspicy@NikkiFried A literal 10yo rape victim was forbidden an abortion in Ohio last week.
Do you understand what this is about? The fascists are FORCING kids to have "adult issues". The kids are protesting to be SPARED the adult issues you agree they shouldn't have.
@Barrettembee4@richsignorelli "Godwin's Law! You automatically lose the argument!" - smug 2010 xkcd pricks with bad posture and little oval glasses, obliviously unravelling a whole generation's ability to discuss and identify any urgent threat of fascism
