I love giant Ichneumonid wasps and how stupid their proportions are for an animal with such a cruel and gruesome way of kickstarting the next generation.
@meguaaaaaaa I wonder if it's to do with the fact that the show has a more grotesque art style and so it's just easier for Glitch to use Mel because she's more palatable for people who dislike the show for that reason, if that makes sense..???
I feel like you shouldn't do this. Blocking the shell from sunlight in any way, just like with painting them, can cause long term damage. Their shells also help with temperature regulation. This is abuse.
one thing we cannot get tired of is hating on ai art. we will not slowly integrate. we won’t slowly come to like it. we won’t fall victim to the propaganda that it is the future or special. we won’t let the billionaires who are sick in the head win this one.
@colligocritters@abookofsymbols Peter singer also shared an essay written about why beastiality is morally permissible. I had a twitter account back then so I remember seeing this back then. Beastiality is a horrific crime that violates the consent of non human animals.

@colligocritters But that aside, treating animals like objects just so you can use them as props for a photo feels so weird to me. This is just a random wild frog that got forced to do this just so someone could get a funny photo.
@colligocritters I've also heard it isn't the best for their breathing either to be forced to sit upright like this. I don't know how true this is since I'm not really interested in frogs, but it apparently has something to do with how their anatomy works.
obviously generative AI is problematic and irritating in so many ways, but there’s something especially sinister to me about using AI to recreate photos that ALREADY EXIST! you can just use the real photo!!!! what are we doing!!!
@roqueforti_@beetleoid Probably not. There's people who don't think fish are animals for example so there's definitely going to be people who think those two aren't animals either. Genuinely crazy.

You basically just have to play around with the anatomy of whatever species you're making into a sona and figure out what works best.
@Ryujiinxx@Seahorse152@wa_workshop I hate posting art on this platform but this conversation made me want to share some of my insect and arachnid anthro designs I've done before.
@beetleoid With insects at least, you can use the thorax as the humanoid body part, head as the head and attach the abdomen to the back. You basically just have to learn the anatomy of whatever you want to draw as a sona and then figure out how to change it appropriately to suit your needs.
@Andi_Rodd@Shadoo_creeture Well, the gif is AI generated anyways so shadoomf is completely right in calling it artificial and fraudulent as rude as it sounds lol
