@NilesSankey I mean, like seeing how detailed the in-game internet is, looking at the architecture and how it matches what we have in South Florida, seeing how the sandbox reacts under varying conditions.

I am not too focused on the jingly keys like some people are on the internet. 😂

I think that's fair, different strokes for different folks, and all that jazz.

For me, I am interested in it for two reasons: I am from South Florida and there's really not many games in that region. The other reason is to see how much attention to detail is put into the world. Not necessarily "simulation" but how much depth there is to the detail.

Then again, my main enjoyment of GTA is to just look around and explore, which may put me as a minority 😂

I think a good supplementary video is the long, but sobering video Mark Darrah @BioMarkDarrah had for Anthem.

He estimated the total cost to reboot was ~$10 million.

The video is really interesting as it even goes through the server infrastructure the game went with to ease new updates. This ultimately came with the cost of the game being server dependent until the end which is why you can no longer play Anthem.

I can respect being a rebel, but this is clearly done by a threat actor and must be dealt with.
