with zcash, if you treat shielded public addresses like you would private keys (that means do not store funds long-term in any revealed receiving address), it is already quantum resistant. without a public key to crack there is nothing for a quantum computer to hack at.
People think they want money, then they marry someone they love, have kids they love even more, and suddenly, they understand that all they've ever wanted was the time and freedom to watch those kids grow up next to their second favorite person in the world.
@Matt_vlietstra it's often unspoken, but bitcoin did not reach the masses because of "the tech"
it's the hidden "i will get rich from this without much effort, because bitcoin always goes up" that has/had them interested
and now this narrative has lost steam. market cap got too big
i'm old enough to remember the days when we constantly had to defend zcash against xmr fud slingers. but now it's like xmr doesn't even exist
and recently we've upgraded to a new kind of fudster, the bitcoiner. how long before it's like bitcoin doesn't even exist?

@GoodTexture i might very well be wrong here. but i wouldn't be too surprised if this didn't retrace too much anymore before higher highs, even on low volume
