Of course UCOP stood with the governor in this decision. I'm sure UCOP, regents, and chancellors will be willing to take pay cuts to make up for the loss. Otherwise, they would be punishing students, faculty and staff for something they can prevent. #UCSDCares
This is what @UofCalifornia thinks of peaceful protests. This is what @UofCalifornia will do to in order to avoid paying their workers living wages.
This is how @UofCalifornia treats people of color who dare to speak out about their mistreatment.

UC students & families r already hurting from the pandemic & uc’s response 2 such. Mandating fee payment 4 campus amenities & activities that folx dont have access 2 is unjust & shameful & that’s y students filed a lawsuit against @UofCalifornia#ucsdcares https://t.co/CfF7nQlQ1x
Today, check out the #UCSDcares hashtag to see how UC San Diego chooses to prioritize profits over their students & employees every. single. day. 😡🤬
If #UCSDCares why do 28% of graduate students have to rely on food stamps or food pantries? Don’t let #UCSD get away pretending to give a shit to raise money for their “Day of Caring,” share a message of precarity and tag “#UCSDCares” to expose UCSD for what it really is.
If #UCSDCares it wouldn't "continue to play Russian roulette" with those living with pre-existing conditions like MS. Read more about Krys Mendez and their struggles here.

DO NOT donate to @UofCalifornia who is invested in the maintenance of capitalism which literally costs the lives of Black & Brown folx. Instead, invest your funds directly into the wellbeing of students & employees here: https://t.co/CfF7nQlQ1x #ucsdcares
One of the scarier aspects of grad school thus far definitely includes the austerity measures imposed through “Return to Learn.” If #ucsdcares, they wouldn’t use their faculty, staff, and students in a quasi-public health experiment for the sake of establishing a national model.
