In guidance on glyphosate and GMOs, the @AmerAcadPeds acknowledges we are being poisoned but urges us to be “sensitive” that some can’t afford non-poisoned food.
The same group urges no such sensitivity in their call for “urgent” funding $15,000 per year of ozempic for obese teens.
The job of these medical groups is to state scientific facts.
The job of policymakers is then to take those facts and make policy.
Non-poisoned food is cheaper because of broken policy. And we are getting decimated from food-based diseases.
The @AmerAcadPeds should be using direct, truthful communication that frankly should be a little “fear” inducing.
Instead, due to direct influence from food and pharma companies, they use the fact that we have a broken policies to suggest that our broken food system is almost a fair accompli that we can’t change.
This is how corruption works.
