The interesting part is the Sybil resistance
Base Verify is designed so one real identity counts once, even when multiple wallets are involved
So instead of simply checking wallet activity, the system can verify a real-world credential and prevent the same person from claiming multiple time.
This is a Base Verify Onchain demo on Base Sepolia
Go test your eligibility and see what happens
Did you get eligible for both?
. @Base Verify Onchain Demo Is LIVE!
Base has released a live demo showing how future airdrops can become much more resistant to Sybil farming
Instead of rewarding wallets, projects can now reward verified individuals

> Connect your wallet on Base Sepolia
> Get verified through Base Verify
Coinbase One
>Verified X (more providers are supported)
> Sign a verification message
> Claim your BASE airdrop
Once claimed, the smart contract stores your Identity Hash
Even if you connect another wallet, the same person cannot claim twice
• One Real Person = One Claim
• Sybil-resistant airdrops
• No traditional KYC
• Identity stays private
• Verification happens directly onchain
This means future Base ecosystem airdrops could focus much more on real users instead of people farming rewards with hundreds of wallets
If this model is widely adopted, Sybil farming on Base could become much harder than before
What do you think should more projects switch to identity-based airdrops instead of wallet-based eligibility?
