@b0de_xd It's not corrupting any firmware. It enforces stricter iommu checks. The device is trying to access memory ranges it's not supposed to, this is now prevented as it should have been in the first place. That's the entire purpose of iommu in the first place.
@atomicthumbs "if you sign in on a device shared with others, you should not create a passkey there" - there's no option to skip creating a passkey when signing in, however. My media player can be used to take over my Google account now which is convenient.
@thingnotok Yes, these have an additional DP-HDMI converter. And I might be wrong on this but Macs and Apple TVs are also converting from DP for their builtin HDMI outputs, AFAIK.
