.@DrMikeRyan and I just met with @UNLazzarini to discuss the dire and extremely worrisome health and humanitarian situation in #Gaza. The ongoing man-made starvation and blockade of humanitarian aid and basic services is increasing the risk of epidemics that can be deadly.

Our teams will continue to work together to support basic health services and hospital recovery across the Strip, but we urgently need sustained, unimpeded and safe access. We need a ceasefire.
