I need to drop some truth about being in Web3.
Btw I’m not throwing shade at everyone, just to the ones that need it.
I have met some of my closest friends and been a part of the best communities in this space and I intended to make/be a part of many more as the years go by.
On my feed, you'll see me navigate the ridiculously complicated world of Web3.
Go for something new, and everyone's all about nostalgia. Stick to the old script, and they're itching for a twist. Open up too much, and they miss the thrill of the chase. But keep a few secrets, and they're all over you for the details.
It's like being stuck between a rock and a hard place – you bring utility to the table, and suddenly everyone's an art critic; you offer a piece of art, and they're asking, "But what does it do?" You drop a project quickly, and it hits like a fire sale. Take your time, and it's a constant wave of wen memes.
Some people hype up their PFP as 'the one’, but they'd trade it for a quick buck in a heartbeat.
Feels like everyone thinks they’re an expert on everything.
I get it, we've seen too many big promises with zero follow-through, and we're all a little sketched out from the rugs/scams we've all gone through.
But here's the deal: when you bump into people who genuinely try to make things better, give them time to breathe and actually deliver? If they slip up, can we not tear them down, give them a hand up with some legit constructive criticism? And when they nail it, let's give them props but remind them to keep their heads on straight because it's not over yet.
Great things take time to build. So let's do it together.
