@iam_xtopher@JacobWSmall I had the same thoughts.. but "drawings" are means of representation.. It always has been, right from when it was pen on paper.. the need to represent a model will never go away because it assumes everyone will have an understanding of your model..
@thebimguru @jeames_hanley I'll be right next to you on that hill @thebimguru.. 3D for modeling/coordination all day.. 2D is about representation and abstraction..
@Sandancer1977 @straycatsbandb @karencureton@CoachingDB We have been through this in Denmark. At this stage it's better to look at COVID cases that are in the ICU and on ventilators.
@topologicBIM@TestFitInc@AAltahlawi@Blender@ladybug_tools@RhinoGrass@SpeckleSystems A couple of weeks ago I had to take a Microstation file through Rhino, to make a DWG that could be imported into Revit.. it almost made me cry.. we should not be proud of having to do these horrid things.. we are showing future AEC people that this is cool, when its really not!.
@topologicBIM@TestFitInc@AAltahlawi@Blender@ladybug_tools@RhinoGrass@SpeckleSystems That platform-agnostic approach and the inherent structure of space that Topology provides is exactly why it will be part of future BIM systems.. Yes our current situation is different and I to am a jumper, but the whole purpose of interoperability is to remove jumps..
