Welcome to my Unknown PE Teacher account. Looking forward to interacting with fellow educators. Please share the account and see where we go. Sometimes it's easier to have frank discussion going unknown #edutwitter#education#PE#physicaleducation#edupe#sport @WannaTeachPE
What about those Academy Trusts and Schools that have away days at posh hotels for senior leaders a couple of times a year? I appreciate a drop in the ocean but a needless spend nonetheless. It seems snobby and elitist too.
The DfE believes schools can spend their cash more efficiently, a senior civil servant has said, amid widespread concern that unfunded pay rises will push schools into the red https://t.co/qwnsAPCQgc

@TeachingWhimsy Love this.
I wonder what I'll learn today? Hopefully where my new classroom is 🤣
Happy New School Year.
Good luck and go for it.

These “Easy Carry Storage Straps” from Wrap It are GREAT for carrying and storing things like hula hoops. Highly recommended.

Then think have I taken too long? Has my time passed me by? Do I want to be SLT? Do I want to even be a teacher?
Lots to ponder. But before that I've got a full days teaching, a fixture & two parents to call!
I've seen lots of fellow PE Teachers that have taken that plunge & are in their first or second headship. You then sort of get a flat feeling that you've stood still.
A career thread-interested to hear from colleagues...
Who's been teaching for a long time (over 15 years) & stuck at that mid career crossroads? I've seen colleagues come & go in terms of leadership & can't help & feel I've stood stool on the factory floor of class PE teaching..
I still enjoy teaching pupils full time but it's becoming tiring & frustrations of those in SLT are becoming more prevalent. However, I respect that's a difficult job & just don't know if it's me?
