@MasterMaliq Islam tells you to do these things… so it is Islam that causes you to do these things. As a Christian I love YOU but we cannot accept Islam.
The best insight on “pride” I’ve read for a long time.
And the significance of “light, lightness and laughter.”
Sent by my friend “Presterton” (a modern day Chesterton, whose quote is at the top).
Are you converting Muslims? Are you converting Jews? No, our are fake Orthodox apologists are trying to convert Catholics and Protestants. So they say. How you ask? By doing apologetic debates with Catholics and Protestants. But, in these debates the Orthodox “scholars” are telling their opponents how bad their faith is and how wrong they are about what they believe. Occasionally throwing insults and personal attacks to get them to convert to Orthodoxy.
A great game plan, right? It would be funny except it’s so stupid it defies logic.
It’s a show of ego. With no purpose except to humiliate their opponents. The only ones that enjoy the debate are the ignorant.
Where are the bishops?
Canon 64 Council at Trullo Quinisext council.
A layman shall not dispute or teach in public.
Who has a bishop’s written blessing?
I am not blackpilled, I jut realise we are in the endgame now.
The odds of winning are astronomical. It is going to take a strong man or strong men to stand up, and I am not sure people are ready for that yet.
We need to:
Return to Church
Ban abortion
Remove universal suffrage
Deport millions
Only by returning to God can we be saved. Anglos need to get married and have as many children as God blesses them with.
The matriarchy is toxic femininity. We must return to a strong patriarchy.
We need to collectively push back against the technocracy - central bank digital currencies, AI, Flock/ULEZ etc.
We need to regulate big industries: Big Tech, Big Pharma, Big Food, etc.
We need to defeat Islam and reject Israeli influence.
Both Bolshevism and Zionism must be denounced for the win. Christ centred is the only way for Christendom.
Most modern American Christians say they reject the priesthood.
But that is not entirely accurate.
What many are actually rejecting is abuse.
And there is a difference.
In more recent centuries, and especially in certain moments of Western church history, some clergy abused what we would call their spiritual authority.
Holy orders were distorted. Instead of placing themselves beneath the people in humble service, some placed themselves above the people in power and status.
They positioned themselves to be served rather than to serve.
They made themselves untouchable while everyone else strived for holiness and perfection…
But Jesus was explicit. “I did not come to be served, but to serve.” The pattern of Christ is downward.
The Son of God left Glory to put on flesh.
God becomes man and kneels.
The King of all creation washes feet.
The High Priest offers Himself to death.
When clergy posture themselves like emperors, princes, or untouchable elites, they are not embodying holy orders.
They are defying the very command of Christ and the intention of ordained ministry.
That corruption created very deep wounds.
And in Western society, we often lack the patience for nuance and complexity.
When abuse happens, we don’t just want to remove the abuse. We want to dismantle the structure...
We don’t really want reform. We react.
Then we throw the baby out with the bathwater.
But historically, the problem was not the priesthood itself.
The problem was priests who forgot what priesthood was for.
Consider Martin Luther the original “Reformer”.
Luther loved holy orders. He loved being a priest in the Roman Catholic Church. His protest was not against the existence of priests and bishops as clergy.
His protest was against corruption, indulgences, and the moral and theological failures he witnessed. He was calling for repentance, not the abolition of holy order.
Notice something very important. Certain branches of the Lutheran Church still have Bishops, priests and deacons.
Why? Because holy orders are not a medieval invention. They are rooted in the structure and life, teachings and survival of the historic church.
The church is priestly by nature.
Christ is the head of the Church. And Jesus Christ is our High Priest.
If the head is priestly, the body cannot be allergic to priesthood.
In fact those of us called into Holy Orders are called to share in the priesthood of Christ…
It is a calling to suffering, service and even death…
The New Testament speaks of elders. Of overseers. Of deacons. Of laying on of hands. Of ordered ministry.
There is structure. There is leadership. There is accountability. And there is sacrificial service.
The issue is never authority rightly exercised. The issue is authority corrupted.
Modern American Christianity often operates with a deep suspicion of hierarchy because we have seen hierarchy abused.
That suspicion is understandable. Abuse should be exposed. Corruption should be confronted. And leaders who exploit others should be removed.
But rejecting priesthood altogether because some priests failed is like rejecting fatherhood because some fathers were absent.
The abuse is evil.
The office is not.
Priesthood, rightly understood, is not about status. It is not about control. And It’s not about being elevated above the people.
It is about standing before God with and on behalf of the people and standing before the people as a servant of Christ.
It is a call to die daily.
When holy orders become a platform for ego, they betray Christ.
When holy orders become a place of sacrificial service, they reflect Christ.
The problem is not that the church had priests.
The problem is that some priests stopped acting like Christ.
And until we recover that distinction, we will continue reacting to wounds instead of restoring what was meant to be holy.
The church is not less spiritual because there is order…
It has heavenly order because Christ is our High Priest.
