Previewing a new history audiobook - I am 100% sure it was narrated by the woman who used to do the KS2 mental maths tests (showing my age there!). Not conducive to relaxing!
@TVRav And studies show that high quality relationships and sex education leads to people losing their virginity later and they are more likely to use protection. Probably because they’ve had facts from an adult rather than playground chat and websites.

@mrsbrewtandcake It says something when so many comments on here are sharing similar experiences. The only positive I can think of is that through our negative experiences, we are (or will be) more empathetic, supportive and constructive mentors ourselves.
I wanted a new series and so I thought I’d try Outlander. Just got to the end of series 1. Was expecting a bit of historical romance, not harrowing rape scenes. Really not sure how I feel about it.
