🚨SEC’s biggest choke artists🚨
Teams with the most losses after having an 80% or more chance to win in the fourth quarter (using ESPN in-game probabilities since 2014)
I take no pleasure in Arkansas’s pain. They have been through enough..
@PaxDomini0@OVTweetmarck Fun fact: in the same since-2007 time span, Arkansas has 57 one-score losses, and 16 blown 4th qtr leads since 2018.
I say this not in competition to your pain, but to say: can we sit next to you at the bar? We’re catching up quickly.
@JohnNaborsShow Nebraska, frequently heralded as the poster child for one-score losses, is 33-52 in the same time frame btw. We have it worse than the poster child for one-score losses.
Yeah I did read it, did you?
When you read, “I think Team A will win but Team B could win and I wouldn’t be surprised,” do you think that’s “avoiding picking a side”?
It’s Alabama vs Georgia. It COULD be either team. If you go into that game thinking, “Team A is absolutely gonna win,” you’re way too certain. It’s a crap shoot between them and you know it.
“I think Team A will win but I’m not sure” IS picking a winner while admitting *reasonably* that it’s a tenuous pick. That’s the nuance of the opinion. Nuance does not require “insight,” please go reread the definition.
@therandomsec See what I mean? You have to have a black and white take on who you think will win or else people think you’re “talking out of both sides of your mouth.” It’s illegal to be on the fence about which highly capable team you think will win in a big head-to-head matchup.
Josh you cooked a 5-⭐️ meal when a long while ago you said, “College football is controlled by people who do not love college football.”
These people have no qualms about sucking the sport dry just for their own benefit until after CFB as we know and love it is dead and gone, and then some.
They are worse than (and may God forgive me for saying this) car dealers.
NEW: College Football Playoff 24-team expansion talks will continue this week with meetings in Chicago, @PeteNakos reports.
Momentum is building for a 24-team field, with the ACC, Big 12 and Notre Dame supporting it and the SEC open to it.

TexAgs are having a rough start to their season after literally making the playoffs last year and routinely enjoying 8-win seasons before that, and they’ll tell you with a straight face that they’re “battered.” They would shatter into a million pieces if they suffered Arkansas’s last decade and a half.
