Minneapolis. Last night’s show was so fun and unique. We had an absolute blast. Thank you to all 2100 of you. And of course, thank you to @DarrenCriss.
My son wants to make a movie called “Home Run Baby” about a professional baseball team made up entirely of babies. They win EVERY SINGLE GAME in the regular season, but in the championship they come from behind when the worst baby on the team hits a grand slam to win it.
“My God. What a stunning young woman with such fashion sense! Where did you get that blouse? I must know.”
“My dog was Mrs. Doubtfire for Halloween?”
#apbio with one of the funniest lines I’ve ever heard on television. Criminal that they canceled this show.
The first line of “Round Here” has got to be the greatest album-opening lyric of…some period of time. “Step out the front door like a ghost into a fog where no one notices the contrast of white on white.” Damn.
In a 2-hour timespan I have enjoyed both “Jesus Christ Is Risen Today” and “Satan Is My Motor.” I may be a puzzle to myself, but a good song is a good song.
@ErikaSwyler @imaginarysmd Wonderful thread. I’m a long way off from any of this book business becoming a reality, but should it, I’m extremely heartened by this advice.
Someone write a novel that is the stylistic equivalent of They Might Be Giants’ Flood, or if it’s already written, tell me where where I can read said novel. Thank you.
It’s got a couple great stories about how fishermen are the most brazen liars, there’s a dog with the fantastic name of Montmorency, and it’s short. Three stars. #amreading
