Came here to follow events in Syria. Not too seriously, I was going to be un-Syrious. Get it? Ha ha.
Then Syria broke my heart.
Now Syria gives me hope.
@agraybee A whole course on dolls? So dumb. I would never take that course. You know what would be cool? A course on action figures. It would focus on machine guns and lasers and forts with secret entrances. Why doesn't Princeton teach students how action figures are better than dolls?
@Wilson__Valdez Rhodes did more to screw up the Middle East than almost anyone in the U.S. He should get called before the committee to answer for his failed advice to Obama that led to an extra decade of war in Syria, another 400,000 deaths, and the refugee crisis that gave us Brexit and Trump.
@ok_post_guy Meta acquiring Moltbook? That was pure OpenClaw-based vibes. HF isn't like that, it's a central hub of modern AI. But even the biggest AI fans don't see how it stays in business or could plausibly turn a profit.
@ok_post_guy It's an essential part of AI infrastructure, the place where everybody releases the latest models. They haven't abused their position so far. But everyone wonders how they can pay all their storage and network expenses. Millions of multi-GB or TB downloads every day.
@Wilson__Valdez So the Russian-owned, sect-adjacent Assadist was the one giving good advice, but Trump listened to the performatively masculine alcoholic ex-Fox host instead? We are never recovering from this.
@Wilson__Valdez When it came time for voters to decide between freedom and fascism, the media was ready to tell them where Biden's transcript may have been missing a comma.
@Szabadsag1956 It's worth sticking around for the videos of schools reopening and hospitals being renovated. It's almost as nice to see as videos of Russian tanks burning.
Syrians who were children 10 years of age during the fall of Aleppo are now 18 years old and enlisting in the Free Syrian Army. God willing, they will liberate their homes and finish what we started. ❤️
@JamesRaxz That's correct. No big online debate. No campaign-season hand-wringing. But when conditions are right, we are going to do the Thing. All the Things.
Marco should tell Trump that if Taiwan (chip wafers) or Korea (memory chips) go down, the U.S. and global economy will implode into a depression. So perhaps we should aim for maximum deterrence against our adversaries attacking those two countries.
I can’t believe I even have to say this. Politicians need to do their jobs and speak up for U.S. national security interests against this idiocy. I’m just a Substacker.
