The large scale offensive targeting Left movements in the West, of course has its histories within global anti-communism more broadly, but the specific language regarding terrorism is attached to the logics of war on terror. Think about this when you knowingly or unknowingly reproduce Islamophobic tropes.

UAE’s Bin Zayed is offended by criticism over joining Israel against Palestine, genociding in Sudan, pouring money into Europe’s far-right, backing Modi against India’s Muslims, trying to carve up Libya, Somalia, Yemen, Saudi..
My accounts join a list of many censored in the UAE
@peterbakernyt@ddk_nyc Israel’s “aggression” ??? It was a live streamed genocide; unrelenting sadism and perversion; not one of these partners in perpetuation of these diabolical demons are calling for an IMMEDIATE END TO THIS OR A COMPLETE ARMS EMBARGO against 🇮🇱. They’re still running cover for 🇮🇱
At least 15 Palestinians were killed when an Israeli ccuaptionostrike hit the Yemen al-Saeed Hospital in Jabaliya refugee camp, according to Gaza's health ministry. A boy describes being unable to speak for what he had seen: he was wounded and his cousin killed, not by the first strike but by a second that hit the same street moments later, as he pulled himself clear and kept walking. The double blast follows a pattern documented throughout the assault on Gaza, in which an initial strike is followed by a second on the same spot as rescuers and survivors gather, multiplying the dead among those who come to help.

May God Help the People Living in Gaza’s Tents… Occupation, Heat, Rats and Mosquitoes Have All United Against Them
It seems that, after all its failure and paralysis, the world has left the people of Gaza to compete in a daily survival contest under conditions darker than even the bleakest fiction.
By day, a torn tent beneath the summer sun becomes a plastic oven — no electricity, no fan, and barely enough water for children to drink or for families to wash their faces.
At night, the “second shift” begins: mosquitoes in the air, rats on the ground, and fear that never leaves.
And the occupation is present in every detail: in the home that was destroyed and replaced by a tent, in the scarcity of water, in the devastated infrastructure, and in lives forcibly reduced to a few square meters of fabric and plastic.
What extraordinary luxury the people of Gaza enjoy!
A torn tent that protects from neither heat nor cold. Water searched for like treasure. Mosquitoes that never sleep. Rats sharing what little space displaced families have left. And temperatures that turn tents into places almost impossible to endure.
Then the world arrives, dressed in all its diplomatic elegance, to announce that it is “deeply concerned.”
Thank you for this magnificent concern.
Perhaps it can repair a torn tent, fill a water tank, drive away a mosquito — or persuade a rat to respect international humanitarian law.
May God help the people living in Gaza’s tents.
They are enduring what no human being should have to endure: occupation over their heads, heat baking their tents, thirst chasing their children, mosquitoes biting their bodies, rats invading their sleeping spaces… while the world watches.
Perhaps this is the great achievement of our civilized age:
A human being now dreams simply of a room with walls, a tap with running water, and one night without mosquitoes or rats — yet even these modest wishes have somehow become humanitarian demands requiring international statements, negotiations, and conferences.
In Gaza, the tent is no longer merely a symbol of displacement; it has become a witness to a world that managed to see everything — and do far too little.
What do you think of my new painting!!
Beauty can really bloom from the deepest places of pain..

From Gaza to the world.
Gaza was once known as the “Athens of Asia”, a celebrated centre of learning in the Byzantine world.
In this deep dive, historian William Dalrymple explains how Gaza developed a renowned school of rhetoric and became a destination for the education of Byzantine elites, much like Oxford or Cambridge today. He highlights how Gaza’s intellectual legacy extended beyond rhetoric and philosophy, including influential biblical scholarship that travelled as far as seventh-century Canterbury.
That centuries-old tradition of valuing education has remained a defining feature of Gaza’s society. Despite the immense challenges of decades under Israeli occupation and siege, modern Gaza has maintained one of the highest literacy rates in the region, with adult literacy at around 98%. Across Palestine, education continues to hold a central place in the lives and aspirations of Palestinians.
@DalrympleWill | @AlnaouqA
@susanabulhawa Despite being bombed, sieged, slaughtered for decades, literacy rate in Gaza is still among the highest in the world. Higher than in “israel” by some measures with outstanding ratio of university graduates, PhDs, very well educated people @grok

The child Waleed Khalaf is suffering from the spread of chickenpox throughout his body and severe acute malnutrition. He has become extremely weak and urgently needs to travel outside the Gaza Strip to receive treatment and be saved before it is too late.
He also needs diapers, medication, food, and urgent medical care. His brother died some time ago from the same disease. Waleed’s father is appealing to the World Health Organization for assistance in issuing Form No. 1 and expediting Waleed’s transfer for treatment, fearing the loss of his other son.
Ayham Nasman, the sole survivor of his immediate family, returned to find his father, mother, and three siblings killed after an Israeli strike hit their residential apartment in Gaza's Al-Nasr neighborhood.
Ayham survived because he was not inside the apartment when it was struck.
The video shows him standing over the bodies of his family in the aftermath.
The attack comes amid Israel's ongoing genocide on Gaza, during which over 70,000 Palestinians have been killed and much of the territory has been turned to rubble.
CNN will never show you this : An Israeli settler pointing a gun at a Palestinian farmer.
"This land is mine now. Get out. Never come back"
The farmer's family worked that land for generations.
The settler flew in from Eastern Europe.
🚨A heartbreaking testimony from Gaza:
Dr. Ali Al-Nuwairi, a surgeon, survived an Israeli strike that killed his entire family, his wife, young son, parents, and 10 other relatives after their home was bombed.
He woke beneath the rubble, while those around him hid the devastating truth until he eventually learned that everyone he loved was gone.
Despite his unimaginable loss, he returned to treating the wounded, witnessing children with crushed skulls and patients dying on operating tables as Gaza’s hospitals struggle under relentless attacks.
