Twenty years ago, the Alpha Tau Chapter of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. was founded at the University of North Texas. The FIRST Latino fraternity in the nation and the FIRST Latino fraternity at UNT.

On April 5th, 1998, 20 brothers founded The Alpha Tau chapter of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity Incorporated at UNT. Their legacy continues to this day.
