St. Illtyd’s church, Penrhiwfer, Rhondda celebrated Harvest thanksgiving last Sunday. A big thank you to all who took part in the service and prepared the church so beautifully.
The churches of the Rhondda offer our prayers for the people of Afghanistan during this time of suffering and fear. We pray that every man, woman and child in that land may be free from terror and fear. That hope may triumph over despair and goodness over every evil.
We keep in our prayers this week the work of Christian Aid.
Throughout the years it has brought hope and support to those who are suffering in our world, a Christ light shining out with love for the human family.
