How to be productive:
- Don't schedule anything in the AM. Ever.
- All meetings in two afternoons a week.
- Use email or calls to replace most meetings.
- Keep emails under 5 sentences.
- Keep calls under 15 mins.
- Delete emails without responding.
- Take time to walk/think.
Your preferences and desires, likes and dislikes, wants and contempts - what did all of this give you except misery?
The luxury of a man with infinite wealth is nothing compared to the freedom of a man without any preference.
Positive asymmetry: high upside/low downside
Linear: similar upside/downside
Negative asymmetry: low upside/high downside
In positive asymmetry games, you win by taking lots of shots.
In linear games, you win by working hard.
In negative asymmetry games, you win by not playing.
