Air India CEO Campbell Wilson:

🔴Now, Air India has the opportunity to correct the historic wrong.

🔴During the privatization of AI, the total widebody fleet of India was 43. Compare this to others: Dubai had 250, Singapore had 150, and Qatar had 175.

🔴This highlights the subscale nature of Air India and its growth opportunity.

🔴Wilson wants Air India to achieve a level of service similar to airlines like Emirates, Qatar Airways, SIA, and British Airways in terms of product and hospitality.

🔴The decision of the government to not expand bilateral agreements with some countries aims to support the expansion of local carriers like Air India and IndiGo.
