@Kd30430087 @rose_atomic @GovInslee The government should be stepping up to do more. There should be a federal level response to help the people out of work. It’s awful that so many people lost their jobs and livelihood because of this. They should be getting support from the federal government to stay home.

Shouldn’t I do at least the bare minimum to protect the elderly and immune compromised members of the community? Shouldn’t I try to help stop the spread, even if not for me, for someone else?

But they don’t do thay anymore because new information became available. Dr Fauci’s advice from early May is perhaps overly optimistic about the US being able to handle the pandemic.

New information has come to light, and the situation around the world has changed. New assessments are needed. We have to remain flexible and proactive.

@grubbylilmitts @rose_atomic @GovInslee So about 2.5 months ago Dr Fauci was more concerned with masks being worn by healthcare professionals, and worried that people messing with their mask could increase infections. Obviously we know now that this advice was not the best advice 1/
