The beauty of rockets in flight 🚀📽️
Telescope tracking cam delivered during @SpaceX @SpaceForceDoD #GPSIII. At 0:50 we can even see Falcon 9's vapor cone as it goes super sonic!
Special thanks to the scope crew @Erdayastronaut@astroferg and @OPT_Telescopes BTS on channel soon
In 1992, NASA astronaut Mae Jemison became the first black woman to fly in space. In 1996, she filed a police brutality complaint against a police officer for twisting her arm and throwing her down on the pavement while arresting her during a traffic stop. (via @exploreplanets)
Tommorow around 4:30pm is the first manned spaceflight to lift of from the US in over 8 years. It will use historic site 39A and onboard the Crew Dragon will be 2 US astronauts bound for the ISS, although it can seat 7.

Falcon 9 and Crew Dragon will lift off from Launch Complex 39A – the same place Saturn V launched humanity to the Moon and from where the first and final Space Shuttle missions lifted off
Children's toys and NASA technology may not seem to have much in common at first glance, but if you ask certain researchers, scientists and technicians they'll tell you otherwise. HOW TOYS HAVE PLAYED A ROLE IN SPACE SCIENCE >> https://t.co/2M8jhtCqpZ
Good splashdown of Dragon confirmed, completing the 20th and final @Space_Station resupply mission for SpaceX’s first iteration of the Dragon spacecraft!
Good news! I’ve had lots of people bugging me to make a “Norminal” T-shirt! Well, ask and ye shall receive! Don’t forget, if you work in the aerospace industry, you can take 25% off by clicking the link in the description as a thank you for inspiring me! https://t.co/2bg1a6HrC6
@Erdayastronaut@reddit I've posted about the exact same issue - trying to post new content to /space and having the moderators remove it without even bothering with an explanation. Doesn't matter that it was content I worked hard on for the community and passed all their rules.

#TBT : On this day in 1960 M-R 1 had a peculiar failure that earned it the title of the "4-inch flight". Immediately after liftoff the engines cut-off and the craft settled back onto the pad, then the escape rocket fired and jettisoned it's parachutes moments later.
