@dsbwstanacc @Nexiraluv She paid the price I set, that’s not debatable. My takeaway was to charge reasonable prices. I don't think $100 nor $1,300 is reasonable for knee length braids but that’s for the market to decide otherwise— adjust the price.

@goddessmaree96 @1_800_whore_ @Nexiraluv Eventually if nobody is willing to pay then they’ll adjust price & vice versa. Personally, I think it’s good business practice to start with lower prices. The only downside is experiences like mine. We live & learn.

@MiMiNonna512 @Nexiraluv Trust me, we were both upset! My point is that the situation made me understand how much I undercut my labor. It was my first time doing that length, so I was afraid of overcharging but either way we both got scammed.

@goddessmaree96 @Nexiraluv I don’t think $1,300 is a reasonable price but I do understand that the labor involved is taxing. I mentioned my experience bc if I charged a fair labor rate, I wouldn’t care that she took the braids. Regardless, I was 16yr & braid prices were significantly lower 10 years ago.
