@GavMcCracken At $1.30, it's not a bad price, it's probably the one decent stock in the trade, if it starts approaching $1 with all the tarrif fears, it would be worth adding some more.
@FL17112012 When the market’s up, uranium equities are down. When the market’s down, uranium equities are still down. The only consistent trend here is that uranium equities are always down.
@PTOtrading When John Quakes blocked me—even though I was nothing but decent to him during his conflict with Kevin—that’s when I realized something was off. He blocked me just for liking a tweet, which clearly didn’t sit well with him. I’m still blocked to this day.
1 1/ Russia’s Role in U.S. Uranium Supply
Russia is a significant supplier of uranium to the U.S., especially in enrichment services. In 2023, ~24% of U.S. nuclear fuel came from Russian sources.
Big week ahead for #uranium
This pullback seems done. Ofcourse i could be wrong, but gut feel we consolidate here or move up a little.
China EUP sales news is interesting, does the market see this as bullish or bearish?
Supply deficit still no. 1 reason to hold equities.
$PEN M.C post cap raise now at A$240m with $62m cash and another $10m to come via SPP. EV sits at about $175m for what will be a producer of 2m lbs per annum.
53m lb JORC along with 104-163m lb exploration target around them.
#uranium
Since the Fed started raising interest rates in March 2022, money market funds have seen massive inflows.
Total assets held in money market fund went from $4.5 trillion to $6 trillion in 2 years, a 33% increase.
Now, the Fed is expected to begin cutting interest rates.
With record levels of capital on the sidelines, we could see a widespread rotation out of these money market funds.
If this capital goes back into the equity market, the recent run is far from over.
Never has there been more capital on the sidelines.
Just because #uranium needs to cool off, doesn't mean it should, will or even can.
Utilities' unwillingness to contract over many years along with a decade-long bear market have created a large imbalance in demand & supply and concentrated that supply out of a few jurisdictions
This news by Kazatomprom will really wake up those that have looked at this #uranium bull market through the lens of "Kazatomprom can ramp production at any time and close the supply/demand gap"
With that narrative now gone, it could substantially change how many view uranium 🔭
