Tomorrow is our second Down on the Farm volunteer event! We are encouraging as many people as possible to come volunteer with us during our busiest time of the year!
Thereβs plenty to be done here on the farm, so come by from 3pm-6pm and lend a helping hand π±
Thank you to all those who attended our plant sale this past weekend!
It filled our hearts to see all those who wanted to support our nonprofit.
We had a blast while we brought in more money to continue our mission of cultivating healthy communities in the Grand Rapids area!
Urban Roots is now selling Nalgene reusable water bottles to promote our organization while helping the planet!
Buying one of these will not only help our mission, but also lower your plastic bottle use.
Stop by our building anytime between 9a and 3p to purchase one for $20!
IT'S INTERNATIONAL COMPOST AWARENESS WEEK! We'll be sharing facts all week long, so be sure to retweet and spread awareness! Email [email protected] to become a compost subscriber today!
Our farm team has been moving our sprouts from our grow room inside to outside on the farm! So far we have eggplants, leeks, spinach, kale, & garlic π§
We are also transporting them in preparation for a huge plant sale next month!
What are you hoping to see us grow?
April is volunteer appreciation month!
We are beyond grateful for the time our volunteers want to give to our organization.
What better month to start volunteering with us? Weather is warming up, farm is getting prepped, and appreciation is in the air!
