Japanese soldier Hiroo Onoda kept fighting in the Philippine jungle for 29 years because he refused to believe WWII was over.
He only surrendered in 1974, when his former commanding officer flew out to personally relieve him of duty. 🪖

Syrian terrorist with $10m US govt bounty on his head = "transitional president"
Burkinabé president = "junta leader"
Oyibo empire "journalism" = extremely bad for your health.
As an African who wants to live long, stop consuming this crap. It's literally bad for you.
Update: President Mahama of Ghana has REJECTED the U.S. Health deal proposed to replace USAID, worth $109M 🇬🇭❌
“It is humiliating. Why will you want our health record and pathogen profile? And say we’re not allowed to inspect any medicine you give us. We threw the compact away so quickly. I’ve never seen anything thrown out that fast. Ghana will continue to manage its health needs. We’d find other ways for bilateral relations.”
— President John Mahama speaking at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York on Friday, 25th September.
Ghana joins Zambia, Namibia and a few African countries that have rejected the new USAID compact.
However, Giant of Africa reportedly signed it in December 2025, five months before the deadline, and weeks after it was proposed.

Hundreds of residents in Osogbo are in panic after a company selling rice, oil, spaghetti & semovita at very low prices suddenly shut down. Many had paid large sums of money expecting food packages before the company closed. The werey don sc@m people collect millions run away 😭💔
Trending Story: Another food Ponzi scheme scam hit Osogbo, causing protest.
A food stuff store at Odi Olowo, Opposite Nepa office, selling items at up to 80% discounted rates for months disappeared this morning after collecting pre-order money from hundreds of traders and customers.
For instance, they sold a 50kg (₦60k-70k) bag of rice for as low as ₦20-30k. An Indomie carton of ₦14k was sold ₦5-7k, depending on the quantity of orders. But, every order took 7-days for processing.
Semovita, Oil, Rice, Beans, Spaghetti; every food stuff was sold for a minimum of 50% discount. This final run, they promoted it on social media, attracting hundreds of interest state-wide.
So, today was supposed to be another pick-up day after taking mass orders from people.
Unfortunately, when the investors arrived the store, it was empty, their numbers weren’t reachable, causing panic that prompted police intervention. They’re now asking police to investigate and recover their money.
Interestingly, it was in the same exact area in Odi Olowo, Osogbo that the infamous Hero’s Merchant or Hero’s Capital happened years ago. Same food stuff scam.
Last year July, someone pulled off the same scam in Auchi.
He was selling ₦60k bags of rice for ₦20k, claiming it was an FG subsidy and palliative. On some days he sold over 100bags of rice.
After collecting money from over 1,000 people, he disappeared. The victims later realized they had collectively been scammed to the tune of ₦20-30 million.

Not up to two months and it has gotten to this level.
My kid brother is really doing well.
Congratulations to him and congratulations to you all in advance.
Yesterday, I commissioned the 55-room ORIS Signature Hotel in Okigwe Road, Aba, a significant addition to the city’s growing hospitality and investment landscape.
I commend the Chief Executive Officer, Owelle Greg Okafor, for delivering this impressive project within just two years and a few months. This is a clear demonstration of what is possible when vision, enterprise, and a conducive business environment come together.
When we assumed office, Aba faced significant challenges, including poor road infrastructure, and struggling industries. Today, the story is changing, with businesses returning, property values rising and, new investments taking shape.
I therefore invite investors who previously relocated from Abia, as well as prospective investors, to return and take advantage of the opportunities our administration is creating. What we have achieved so far is only the beginning. With more projects, including the soon-to-be-completed Radisson Blu Enyimba Hotel, Aba will continue to grow as a major economic hub.
I also acknowledge all the distinguished guests, friends and well-wishers who graced the occasion and continue to support the growth and transformation of Aba and Abia State.
To Owelle Greg Okafor and the entire ORIS Signature Hotel team, congratulations on this milestone. Together, we will continue to build an Abia where businesses and investments can thrive and opportunities abound.

$ION did AirDrop for free.
@ice_blockchain gave everyone who qualified all their tokens.
Many who were given $ION dumped and walked away instead of standing shoulder to shoulder to support the ecosystem.
Those who mocked $ION FDV and the present MC in comparison to the project which adopted a lot of good things it learnt from Online+ should do well to release all the tokens that was mined by her community let's check something.
Those who love dragging $ION should go and push their meme projects let's check something.
Those who are calling @ice_z3us a crimin@l should also ensure they make their meme token which didn't bond to bond let's check something.
In conclusion, let's not mock the finger that gave us bread some years back and that also gave us ideas 💡 which made us to build the social platform we are using today and also let's not bite the finger that gave us the community which we milked from through some of those memes.
May God help our hearts this season in Jesus name.
✨ I want to speak openly with you about where we are and what matters most to me.
One of my biggest priorities has been getting #ION to a point where we can keep operating without selling tokens to fund the project. We have now reached that point. For me, this is one of our most important milestones because it gives us a stronger foundation to build for the long term.
My focus now is on delivering what we promised. I will do everything I can to make these products succeed, and, as those who have followed us for years know, we still like to leave room for a few surprises.
In the past 4 years, we posted almost daily, shared development details early, and gave timelines that we too often missed. The complexity of the work was real, but those estimates were ours, and we are responsible for them. I understand why that affected your trust.
We communicate less frequently now, and I know the silence can be frustrating. We need to do a better job of keeping you informed while making sure the updates we share are concrete and the timelines are grounded in actual progress. Less noise should still mean clear accountability.
What gives me confidence in the upcoming products is that they build on industries where our team has spent more than 15 years developing technology, protocols, and commercial relationships. We already have clients we can offer these services to. That gives us a practical starting point for bringing them to market.
The goal is simple: useful products, paying customers, and a business that can support itself. That is the foundation I want for ION.
We have invested, and lost, more than anyone along the way. I share that as context for our commitment, but I know it does not excuse delays or erase anyone else’s disappointment. Trust has to be earned through what we do next.
I am proud of the products we have delivered and the millions of dollars distributed to participants through tap-to-mine of the phase one. I also accept that those achievements do not cancel out the things we got wrong. Both are part of our history, and we have to own both.
To those who have stayed: thank you. To those who are frustrated or have stepped away: I understand. Everyone has their own circumstances, and it is our responsibility to give people reasons to believe in our work through delivery.
I’m putting my energy into building, supporting the team, and bringing these products to market. I have faith in what we are doing, and I remain committed to seeing it through.
The next chapter needs to give you something tangible to judge.
Peace - Zeus
