Ye’s wife describing archaeoacoustics as the study of sound in ancient caves and how early humans may have used resonance to shape experience.
“It’s called archaeoacoustics and basically they went into ancient caves and saw how humans interacted with those caves and carved the caves and then they were using their voice to resonate frequencies and they were all playing at 110 hertz and basically what I was doing to the language part of the brain is they were feeling like they were having a transcendental experience or an experience with one with God and I think to have an interaction directly with nature you could push it further by like setting those types of things of like how you can actually carve those spaces and create different sensory experiences.”
