This shouldn’t necessarily be seen as a Samson vs Suryavanshi thing.

However, Suryavanshi maximises his team’s potential to win the game. So he has to be in there. End of. The rest of the team needs sorting out. If they want Samson to play, for whatever reasons that is, someone else has to give way. There are others in that middle order that have had many chances but haven’t necessarily done much.

Please don’t tell me that everyone in that playing XI is a better T20 player than Vaibhav. Some of the guys in that XI don’t bring as much to a T20 table as Vaibhav does. He can take the game away from an opposition in 3-4 overs. Not many players in the world can do that.

So, what exactly is the logic behind keeping him out of the team? Who is making that call? I don’t get it.
