Captain Smit Machchhar, you are a hero of Israel, India, and all of humanity!
In my letter to you which you received over the weekend, I shared our prayers for your full and speedy recovery.
As I wrote in my letter, I look forward to welcoming you to Jerusalem once you regain your strength. On behalf of the people of Israel, I would be honored to present you with Israel’s highest recognition of civilian heroism, the Israeli Presidential Award for Civilian Heroism.
Mike Tyson says Trump is “not a p*ssy president” and deserves respect for surviving the pressure and attacks that would break most people.
“I'm very proud of him…the way that Trump responded to being nearly assassinated, that showed real balls of steel. When he got back up and went, ‘Fight, fight, fight,’ I think it won him the last election.”
“The trash talkers are the ones that are remembered. If you're not saying nothing, you're not remembered.” 🔥
This is nothing personal. It’s just business. Let’s break it down. Starlink device surfaced in India’s recent 6,000kg meth bust. Another was seized alongside weapons in Manipur. China hasn’t approved Starlink. Why should India compromise national security? Access must come with safeguards against smugglers and terrorists. Don’t you agree?
Starlink says it has spent years complying with Indian requirements.
That is a claim worth examining, but it does not mean every regulatory condition has necessarily been cleared.
Recent reporting says security-related requirements remain an issue for satellite broadband providers.
Compliance is demonstrated by meeting each applicable condition, not simply by stating that one has done so.
Breaking: china defends india against Elon musk.
Elon musk said Space X follow all the Indian rules for 5 years it has not been given approval to run starlink in india.
China's Global Times said : Chinese car company is following all the rules but has not been given approval in US and has been blocked with 100% tarrif.
Elon said : Is ambani real boss of india ?
Global times asked: Is Elon real boss of US ?

Dear, this is not the right tone. It’s patronizing. You are better than this. The best diplomacy and strategy for American interest in India should be exploring how to partner with Indian companies to elevate the Indian people. Not compete with them. A greater force for good is a Ambani-Adani-Musk alliance for India’s rural areas. To achieve that, respect Mr. Ambani Ji and Adani Ji first. They are not exploiters, but rather the largest contributors in India and to its people. India is a great nation because of their leadership and innovation. Just as America is a great nation because of you. Humble yourself, change the tone, shift your perspective, work through the national security concerns presented, partner with them.
It's not surprising to see our colonial sepoy @rahulgandhi supporting @elonmusk in undermining our business ventures. After all, in ensuring the integrity of our country be it economic or territorial, the Nehru-Gandhi family has been acting against India for over 4 generations. From giving away PoK and Akshai Chin to distributing 2g spectrum license at decade old rates, the stories of anti-Indian activities of Nehru-Gandhi family are of course many
Mr. Musk, yes, no billionaire should dictate a nation’s policy - Indian or American.
India must welcome competition in satellite internet, from Indian and global providers, whoever offers the most practical and affordable last-mile solution for those in remote regions. In countries with lower per-capita incomes, satellite internet must be affordable too. High subscription fees and equipment costs risk putting it beyond the reach of ordinary households. Connectivity must bridge the digital divide, not create a new one.
India knows our networks and spectrum are strategic infrastructure, not merely commercial assets. India’s national security safeguards are non-negotiable.
Every country makes choices based on its own interests. Those in the West cannot preach free markets while practicing protectionism at home. USA imposed 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs to protect its domestic industry, just as India takes measures to protect its own domestic manufacturers. Both India and the US have restricted Huawei over security concerns. One cannot demand a level playing field from others only when it suits its own agenda.
Indians will internally debate, question and address our strengths and shortcomings as a democratic country.
Take BharatNet, India’s programme to bring broadband to village-level local bodies. We will question why, as the CAG’s 2026 audit report found, the programme is struggling to meet its original objectives. Why were only 33.2% of service-ready Gram Panchayats operational, despite ₹39,888 crore being spent? At the same time, we know to appreciate our telecom sector and regulations, which has made internet data among the world’s most affordable, bringing millions online.
India is a democracy, not a colony. We welcome the world, but we, the Indian people, will decide our own future - not Western vested interests, their double standards or any billionaire - Indian or American.
Ouch!! That must hurt @elonmusk
No billionaire should dictate a nation’s policy- Indian or American.
Well said and well explained.
Sharp, on point and sarcastic 👏👌
