@johnstons08 Julie King. She was drafted as a developmental player for Boston & worked her way up thru the ranks to become captain. She suffered from injuries for 2 years & was cut by NC. Injuries forced her to revamp her style of play. She tried out for Orlando & earned a starting position
@TedyBruschi@Patriots Slowing down the opposition's offense and providing good starting field position to a journeyman or young inexperienced QB allows them to be more relaxed and competitive. It's smart. Having a solid running game to support them doesn't hurt either.
@Patriots@KingDugg_3 Great athlete on defense and special teams. That will work. Plenty of picks in the 3rd to address needs on offense & linebacker.
Who could have guessed that if you use big banks to distribute aid to small businesses, they would take care of their richest clients and their own bottom line, and screw the small businesses https://t.co/ROooIYZZOy
@JoeBiden Framing Trump as a wartime president is a losing strategy. Framing Trump as a president leading the country into a depression is a winning strategy. When you lose, remember this.
Just In: GOP Senator Josh Hawley (Missouri) proposes a Denmark-style plan where the US government pays 80% of worker wages.
"Beginning immediately, the federal gov should cover 80% of wages for workers at any US biz, up to the nat'l median wage, until this emergency is over"
@NomikiKonst If he swapped out Kamala Harris for someone like Barbara Lee as VP and is hell bent on someone like Elizabeth Warren being Treasury secretary I would consider that a gesture that Biden will take progressives seriously. I'm not seeing it happen though.
@mattyglesias So are you saying the main role of these media outlets should be to do propaganda on behalf of Biden and ignoring facts? I personally prefer actual fact based journalism.
@Alyssa_Milano@BernieSanders Bernie does doesn't owe anyone an apology. And his supporters pointing out the hypocrisy of a civil rights icon endorsing someone with a horrible civil rights record is a fair point to make.
@GravelInstitute I think he underestimated how influential the media was in protraying him as toxic over the past 6 years. He should've been more aggressive in calling them out on their bias and not caring about covering the issues facing this country. He did better with this in 2016.
@Alyssa_Milano I'm sure NBC is really worried about Bernie's movement. ๐ They are the same corporation that has been punching Bernie Sanders & his supporters in the face every day for the past 6 years. They hate him & everything he stands for. If Bernie remains consistent his movement endures
@juliaioffe He might have investments in the company or the company may have offered him something once he is out of office. Happens all the time in DC. Just ask the reps and senators who dumped their stocks before this crisis began. Ask Paul Ryan, Joe Crowley or Claire McCaskill.
