@AKabelo True. Devolution, as a governance model - especially in N Kenya, has been nothing short of a rolling calamity. Reform is long overdue but not sure who will lead that effort.

@ngwata_@kenyanpundit ESAMI has a large modern training facility in Arusha, TZ. I wonder why they are offering courses in Dubai. The international NGO that I worked for many years ago assisted them to create/develop the leadership development program.
Unless we are talking about a different ESAMI.
@mohammedhersi Sad to learn about his passing over the weekend. I visited him on Jan 6 in his Kileleshwa home and even gave him a copy of my book. He was our Headteacher when I joined Mbt Sec School in 1976 - he had just been appointed to take over from Mr Webster (British guy).
In Malgis, Northern Kenya, one Acacia tree holds a thousand journeys.
Before maps. Before road signs.
This lone acacia was the meeting point.
Livestock still rest here.
Travellers still pause here.
Stories still pass under its shade.
As the great Isiolo-Marsabit Highway cuts past, the tree remains….quiet, rooted, and remembered.
