Today, the @USCProvost's Office announced Dr. Christopher Boone as the new Dean of the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy.

Originally from Canada, Dean Boone will join us from Arizona State University (ASU) where he filled numerous leadership roles for over 18 years. He is an expert in urban sustainability, global environmental change, urbanization, and environmental justice.

Speaking to USC Today on why he chose #USC, he says, “I fell in love with the city when I was a faculty member at Cal State LA. The whole world is in LA, and people pay attention to what happens there.”

He also notes his excitement to tackle complex, difficult, and challenging problems as he takes on this new leadership role with Price.

He will officially begin this new position on January 1, 2025. Please join us in welcoming Dean Boone to USC! We are so excited he has decided to join the Trojan community. ✌️
