@theunipcs@theuselesscoin hope that clears the air! Honestly if you all have any questions let us know.
The goal here really is to create an amazing community and in the process support another community.
The idea of actually being able to help useless via useful excited the shit out of us!
Let’s make it happen friends 🙏🤝
Useful was a token originally launched over a year ago by the original solana:Dz9mQ9NzkBcCsuGPFJ3r1bS4wgqKMHBPiVuniW8Mbonk dev to vamp useless after he abandoned it and people like Bonk Guy sent it.
The useful community like many others got rugged by the dev. They loved the idea of being useful and decided to cto it. Unfortunately the dev continued to farm despite all their efforts. The community has remained but needed something to reignite them.
Stonk and their community feature gave us that opportunity. We could change the original concept of a vamp and instead become truly useful become a project that supported the project that inspired our inception.
3% fees of which 1% are distributed to useless holders and 2% to useful holders. A perfect symbiotic project that benefits both. Tokenomics that now represent the original communities intention, tokenomics that make us truly solana:GDeKVeV3cs6UCTRDmHqZHugBmUbLLRW7hi9P91XXeLNT
NOTE: please consider ~90% of tokens sent to my fomo wallet as airdrops
i did not buy these tokens with my own money
people sent them to my wallet to capitalize on my copytraders and/or the optics of:
'Unipcs bought this'
i've received some very good airdrops, but the overwhelming majority are from people with nefarious intentions
as a result, i routinely sell these tokens and have repeatedly asked people to stop sending them to me
they haven't stopped
if anything, i expect this to accelerate heading into the bull run
during the launchpad wars era last cycle, people sent me 1,000+ different tokens using this exact playbook
and my wallet wasn't even remotely as public as it is now on fomo
i'm making this clear for 2 reasons:
1. so my followers know what is actually happening and exercise appropriate caution
2. so nobody is surprised when i sell tokens that were sent to my wallet
if i actually want people to know that i bought a token, i will either:
- buy it directly on fomo
- or send it to my fomo wallet after buying it and put out a thesis
there is one obvious question:
'why do you sometimes buy tokens on private wallets before sending them to fomo?'
simple:
there is an army of people trying to frontrun my buys and use my followers/copytraders as exit liquidity
i like buying size on my highest-conviction plays
sometimes i'll buy 1-3% of a token's supply
i simply cannot do that efficiently on fomo when thousands of people are watching my every move
if i try to buy that much in one transaction, my own buy can spike the price 50-100%+ because of slippage
if i DCA instead, copytraders can front-run each subsequent buy and push the price 100%+ in seconds
that prices me out of the entry i actually want
so for SIZE plays, i sometimes withdraw from fomo to a CEX, move funds from the CEX to a fresh/burner wallet, and slowly DCA into the token without an army of people watching every transaction
once i'm finished buying, i can send the bag to my fomo wallet
if i'm topping up an existing bag or buying a smaller amount where slippage isn't an issue, i generally just buy directly on fomo
a stealth-buy feature on fomo could potentially solve this, but i'm not sure how many users actually need something like that or whether there is an incentive for them to build it
anyway, enough rambling
the important takeaway:
tokens SENT to my fomo wallet ≠ tokens i bought
sometimes i don't even realize someone sent me a token until much later
so please don't interpret every token appearing in my wallet as a buy signal
i'm making this post specifically so there is zero ambiguity around this going forward
if i ever want people to know i bought a token, i will either just buy directly on fomo or leave a thesis after i send it to my fomo wallet
