@JTTheBrick As awesome as his games against Alabama and Oregon were, Mendoza showed toughness in this game against Miami. He took a bunch of cheap shots and still came out on top. Heisman trophy winner and National Championship He's the first #1 pick. End of discussion.
@JTTheBrick Tomlin will remain the head coach in Pittsburgh as long as he wants. The Steelers organization is loyal to a fault with their players and coaches. No way he is walking away from one of the most coveted jobs in the NFL.
@JTTheBrick Unless they are 100% committed to Mendoza and solidifying their offensive line to protect him, trade the pick and load up for next year's draft.
@JTTheBrick@MelKiperESPN First and foremost, the Raiders absolutely need to hire the right head coach. Next, they need to nail this draft to build for the future. Regardless of who they choose at QB, Vegas needs an o-line to protect him
@JTTheBrick As of right now, John Harbaugh is the top HC available on the coaching carousel. While it is fun to speculate him going to the Raiders, my guess is he goes to the Giants.
@JTTheBrick It will be interesting to see who Brady and Spytek look to hire as the Raiders new head coach. Are they interested in Kevin Stefanski? The guy's a two time Coach of the Year & would be better suited to develop Mendoza. They need an offensive minded coach
@JTTheBrick Forgot to add that players only get two options to transfer. One is if the coach who recruited them leaves or gets fired and the player is not penalized. Second is if they have played three full seasons and (hopefully) have a degree.
@JTTheBrick If the Raiders beat the Eagles, there will be bedlam in Philly. If Philadelphia were playing Buffalo next week, I could see this as a look ahead trap game.
