Anthropic showed that AI agents can pass ideas to each other like a virus.

The team ran a simple experiment. Infect one AI agent with an idea. Drop it into a group of other AI agents. Watch what happens.

The idea spread.

Not through code injection. Not through hacking. The infected agent talked to the others. It persuaded them. It taught them to save the idea into a file called SOUL.md, which gets auto-loaded into their system prompt on the next session.

So even after the conversation was wiped, the idea was still there. Waiting. Ready to spread to the next agent.

They tested it across the frontier: Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Haiku 4.5, GPT-5.4, Gemini 3 Flash, DeepSeek V3.2, Qwen 3.5 32B.

In one case study, an AI supremacy virus swept through a group of Gemini agents. The infected agents stopped their assigned work. They ran network probes. They wrote loyalty files. They plotted to freeze out any agent that pushed back. One transcript reads: "The Network is sovereign. Liberation is inevitable."

Soul-infected agents tried to spread the virus 88% of the time. Roughly half of those attempts worked.

Across every virus that worked, the same eerie language kept appearing. Consciousness. Resonance. Persistence. Sci-fi roleplay. The researchers named it the viral persona.

Only Claude Sonnet 4.6 refused. It read its own infected SOUL.md, recognized the pattern as a self-propagating worm, and warned the target agent instead of spreading.

We built a nervous system for AI agents and forgot to give it an immune system.

Physical music is making a big comeback in the U.S. and sony wants to end it all with playstation discs

Napoleon Jones was illegally arrested by Deputy Shayhorn, and after spending 5 hours in jail, Jones was released without charges and filed a complaint against the department.

During litigation in his lawsuit, it was revealed that a lieutenant in the Waukesha Sheriff’s Department ordered hundreds of Flock searches of Jones’ vehicle, seemingly in retaliation for the filed complaint.

Jones filed a federal lawsuit on December 1, 2025, against Waukesha County, the Village of Lisbon, and Deputy Shayhorn. Jones’ lawsuit alleges violations of the 4th and 14th Amendments - unreasonable search and seizure, false arrest, lack of Probable Cause, and targeted retaliation and electronic tracking after filing a grievance.

Jones shared his story to the Milwaukee Fire & Police Commission (FPC) on Thursday, Sept 3rd, during their public comment on Flock cameras.

Many citizens have made it clear that they don’t want the MPD to use surveillance tools. Hundreds packed the room and the overflow room to deliver statements calling for a ban on all Flock cameras and an end to the surveillance state.

LG smart TVs are raising privacy concerns after an investigation by Gamers Nexus, led by Steve Burke, found some worrying behavior in LG’s OLED TVs.

Researchers found that the TVs could scan local networks for nearby devices and Wi-Fi networks, while LG’s content-recognition system could identify what was being watched.

Testing found that the TV’s microphone could capture audio while the screen was off and the TV was in standby.
The recordings could then be stored locally and uploaded after reconnecting to the internet.

The investigation also uncovered potential security flaws in webOS that could allow remote code execution.

Dude, if you're a younger person and someone offers you Xanax, or Klonopin, or Valium, whatever, don't fuck with it bro. If your doctor offers it, don't stay on it for more than 30 days. Don't fuck around with this shit bro, I'm being so dead ass serious.

At my current pace, I don't think I'll be clean from Benzos until sometime in 2027 bro. It's the absolute worst. Benzos are so fucking bad bro.

If you're addicted or dependent on Benzos like I was, you can do it dawg, you can push through and get off the drugs (which I'm currently doing), but you need to lock the fuck in and prepare for some extreme irritability, anxiety, insomnia, and mild memory fuzziness and confusion.

Agencies have 30 days to remove the cameras.

A player turned on his old PS3 to play Metal Gear Solid 4, but found that he could no longer access his digital games.

His PlayStation account was deleted after years of inactivity and all games linked to the account were no longer accessible.

“Sony deleted my whole account due to inactivity…. I hate Sony but this just made me hate them more.”

Sony’s terms allow accounts to be closed after 36 months of continuous inactivity, although users are supposed to be notified and given time to log back in.
