Elon Musk's genius isn't the engineering of new rocket tech.

It's infecting people with Mars stories, making space travel cool again,
and collecting and risking money on new space tech that doesn't have any immediate financial payoffs, but just hoping that the problem will figure out itself as more money makes more engineers building more stuff.

I call it the "Sci-fi make it till u make it" technique.

This is exactly the same technique that Sam Altman copied from Elon:

You have a chatbot.
You don't know how to make money with it yet.
You don't know it will become a coding agent in 2024.

You just talk about curing cancer and the singularity, and figure out everything else along the way, while investors pump a trillion dollars into your company.

Google had AI tech earlier but was sandbagging because they feared the new tech would eat their advertisment revenue.

The Elon Musk / Sam Altman generation of CEOs has the following characteristics:

1) They're already obscenely rich and take insane moonshot risks.
They don't fear collapse as older gen CEOs do

2) They dream big, generate constant hype, use science fiction language, do an extreme version of fake it till u make it, and put out tons of vaporware to keep the story/VC-cashflow going, until something sticks at the wall.

3) The extreme risk-taking, moneyflow, stories and talents involved create a self-fulfilling prophecy that imposs its will on reality.

@AllInBritney I’m a pretty stubborn person, so I drove to Vegas on Sep 30th and actually went to Venetian to collect evidence.

1. I went to the Venetian security department on Sep 30th around 3 ～4am and talked to three people there. I have all of their names. They helped me look up my name, Britney’s name, and Xuan’s name to see if there was any report connected to this. There was nothing.

2. In Britney’s Twitter, she said that at one point I secretly cashed out $106,250. I asked the Venetian poker room about my transactions. There are only two transactions under my name. (I’ll include evidence in the comment area).One was me coloring up $175k on June 7th, and the other was me cashing out $190,820 on June 9th. When I cashed out on June 9th, I was at the cage with five other players including Britney.

3. I also have screenshots showing that on June 7th, right after the game, I was actually the first person who brought it up to Britney that the numbers felt off. Didn’t think much of it at the time just casually mentioned it. That’s why the next day she started asking everyone for their P/L. Again, some people didn’t even remember their exact P/L because they were too drunk. After adding up everyone’s already inaccurate P/L, the numbers were about $80k off.

At that point, I asked Britney TWICE to check the CCTV. I asked because I kinda knew she had this pattern of accusing people of stealing chips or misreporting numbers without enough evidence. Hank was not the only person she had been saying things about. So I was a bit worried and I didn’t want to leave anything unclear. She kept telling me, “There’s no need to,” and saying, “It’s definitely Big Mike or Rampage (because maybe they were too drunk to remember their exact P/L).” And then we just dropped it.

So if I had actually lied my numbers, why would I be the one to bring it up to Britney in the first place? Why would I ask her twice to go check the CCTV? That’s one of the biggest reasons I believe Britney knew from the very beginning that I never did anything shady. And that’s what makes this accusation so hard for me to get past. It’s also why I don’t feel like she deserves my money. Because at that point, it’s not just a misunderstanding. It felt malicious.

I put up with a lot from my friends. Usually I let a lot of things slide until it gets to a point where I no longer feel like I’m being treated like a friend. I didn’t just wake up one day and decide to blow this whole thing up for no reason. It took a lot for me to get to this point. You can call me petty or whatever for taking all of this public and turning it into some big cat fight if you want. But I’m not gonna let people walk all over me like that.

People keep saying, “All this over 18k?”Exactly. Maybe you should be asking Britney why she is trying so hard to accuse someone of stealing chips over “just 18k.”

It’s honestly ridiculous that I had to do all of this just to defend myself against something that basically came out of nowhere, based on a few words from different people. A lot of people talked about one part they personally saw, at one particular moment, from their own perspective. So sure, maybe you can go around and confidently say you didn’t lie and therefore you did nothing wrong. After all, you weren’t the one who actually drew the conclusion!

All of these separate pieces that were not enough to prove anything on their own got put together in a way that created a completely misleading picture like a montage. Every single clip can be real, but once you cut them together in a certain way, they can tell a story that isn’t true at all. And you all knew how much weight your words carried. You knew what could happen when people heard these things coming from you. So c’mon, stop pretending that you had nothing to do with this. You know damn well you played a part in it. You’re all some fucked-up adults.
