@ThomBrady5 Not the OP, after putting all this hard work and effort, realizing from first principles, that most of the edgy poasters are generally unemployable (with no self realization) or have delusions of grandeur (seek jobs they are not qualified for, or can't follow simple instructions)
@StanphylCap Bad take I'm afraid. Other than weak balance sheets that these carriers have, Musk isn't an idiot to get trapped in an anti-trust quagmire that opposes this merger. Especially with D's on the cusp of gaining powers to do so.
@desitechsuppoat I'm surprised this is creating so much kerfuffle but it's a nothingburger for the most part. Generally when companies do mass layoffs, they pause PERM filings for 180 days. Microsoft laid off 500+ employees in September so it's unlikely they were filing PERM anytime soon.
@wolffengnr@Jinang07@SHComposer@ShadesOfBlueAn1 Assuming those incidents at Glacier and Yosemite are real and true (since you didn't bother linking anything backing that claim up). How come these 2 incidents taint all Indians, but the 2 Hispanic examples in the thread "not representative" and "mostly"?
@fdxpilot@McFranchisee@McDonalds Interesting. My experience has been the opposite where fries have come under salted than over. Maybe the stores around me are aware of the excessive portioning and went too extreme to offset?
@Simon_Ingari If you are in the US, you should know that almost half (22) states have laws that make it illegal for prospective employer to ask you about your current and past salary. The better answer would be to tell the Recruiter/Hiring Manager your expected salary for this role.
@ChuckWoodruff12@drjoshcsimmons Yup. No exemption on FICA. As a matter of fact, the H1B also has to pay social security and Medicare, although they might not be eligible to receive those benefits themselves.
@sandeep_PT Look at me, an idiot, who thought that DHS was created in response to 9/11. I hadn't realized that Dubya was reacting to Jupiter in Cancer.
