🤯 Baru nemu project yang menurut gue bakal menarik buat siapa pun yang sering bikin AI agent atau automation.

Selama ini banyak orang pakai Chrome Headless, tapi ada satu masalah besar:
RAM-nya boros banget.
Satu instance bisa makan sekitar 200MB.

Kalau AI agent lu buka 10 tab sekaligus?

Ya siap-siap aja hampir 2GB RAM habis cuma buat browser. 😭
Nah, ada developer yang memutuskan untuk menulis ulang browser dari nol menggunakan Rust.

Namanya Obscura.

Dan baru sekitar 7 minggu rilis, repo-nya sudah tembus 14.8k stars dengan lisensi Apache 2.0. 🚀
Yang bikin menarik adalah performanya:

Obscura menjalankan JavaScript sungguhan menggunakan V8 Engine, mendukung Chrome DevTools Protocol, dan bisa menjadi pengganti Puppeteer maupun Playwright tanpa perlu mengubah kode yang sudah ada.

Kalau dipakai buat AI agent, dampaknya lumayan besar.

Contohnya:
➡️ Agent yang memakai Chrome Headless mungkin hanya bisa mengunjungi sekitar 50 halaman per menit.
➡️ Dengan Obscura, klaimnya bisa mencapai 500 halaman per menit.

1. harness harus ingat "old view" file bukan percaya LLM nebak apa yang berubah agent edit file yang bergeser 3 baris sejak snapshot terakhir = silent corruption. fix: harness verifikasi sebelum apply edit. gagal gracefully lebih baik dari corrupt silently.

2. demo agents assume success. production agents engineer for failure anthropic rilis 4-layer framework: planning, orchestration, execution, validation + recovery. kebanyakan harness custom cuma ada lapisan pertama. sisanya berharap happy path.
