@mcshadowie -masculine to begin with, I'm already more andro leaning in appearance, and I still very much yearn to transition medically. I've tried out they/them pronouns, I've labeled myself as non-binary while I was still figuring myself out, and neither of it has felt right
@mcshadowie 11-12, give or take, it suddenly began to define me regardles of whatever I wanted it or not, that is what happened to make me realize how much my sex controls, dictates, whatever, me. I am not interested in trying to be androgynous or whatever cause frankly I'm not even that-
@mcshadowie -be something I care about because at that point, it no longer defines me as a person. Appreciate the good luck, and I hope this might've given you a new perspective on what it can be like to be trans. Or specifically a trans man I suppose
@mcshadowie I am okay with my sex not changing because I'm aware of that not being possible. I'm uncomfortable and disconnected from it because of how it's dictating my body and life. If I am able to transition, feel comfortable in my body, and be recognized as a man by others, my sex won't-
@mcshadowie -I belong amongst women in a, I am not like them sorta way, not because I am uncomfortable around them, but because I simply am not one of them.
I am more than just my genitals, chromosomes, and whatever else contributes to defining my sex assigned at birth
@mcshadowie -a child I kinda was, I was never made to wear or do stereotypically "girly" things, my sex was basically irrelevant which it no longer is. I feel uncomfortable with letting my sex define me, because I am completely disconnected from it. I have never, and still don't, feel like-
@mcshadowie@stqr_les "Because then no one could hurt you anymore right?" WHAT are you talking about?? Hate to repeat myself but stop watering us down to just being "traumatized and confused girls" because you're unable to understand that trans people exists.
@stqr_les@mcshadowie Being assigned male at birth and identifying with that. I am not a cis man, and I never claimed to be one if that's what you're implying I said. I mean I sure as hell wish I was one
@mcshadowie@stqr_les We are not women, we are men, stop trying to water us down to traumatized confused girls. "You don't have to let them win" so the better option is to live the rest of my life miserable being forced to pretend I'm a woman and I'm happy as such?
@mcshadowie@stqr_les Do you seriously think we're too stupid to realize that women can be masculine? π€¦ββοΈ We aren't women, that's the whole point. It's not that we think the only way to be masculine is to be men, it's that we are men
@cupidmink Oh this is interesting, I thought you were referring to the general publics definition rather than a more "official" one. But in that case yeah it's rly strange why that is
@QueerHercules In other words labels are useles and there's really no point in them even existing since they clearly have 0 meaning. We may as well start accepting straight men calling themselves lesbian, since afterall, acknowledging restrictions means you're parroting hetero society π€·ββοΈ
@QueerHercules Labels aren't things you just pick and choose for the fun of it, nor are they things you completely alter and change the meaning of, that defeats what is essentially the main purpose of them π€¦ββοΈ
@lastgloss@fettibombshel How do yall actually think this has anything to do with Armys ??π€¦ββοΈ Moas called him out because Chris Brown is a violent abuser and platforming him is wrong.
