We are pleased to share that yesterday, ππ₯ππ’π§ πππ«πππ’π¬ πππππππ, a student with profound hearing and speech disability, successfully defended his project dissertation in the Department of Architecture.
The defense was facilitated through sign language, with Parfait NZIZA NGWIJE, a Computer Sciences student and volunteer of the Student Support Centre, interpreting Paradisβ sign language into spoken English for the panel and audience.
This achievement marks an important milestone for inclusive education and accessibility at INES-Ruhengeri, demonstrating that with appropriate support, every student can participate and excel.
