According to reports, Henry Nowak's killer, Vickrum Digwa, was attacked at HMP Armley prison, where he is being held.

Reports indicate that a mixture of sugar and boiling water was thrown in his face, causing severe burns. Apparently, his stay in prison will be a nightmare for the criminal.

@WasAcop @godblesstoto Hants Police released a Press release after Vikrum was convicted saying "officers called an ambulance after Henry became unresponsive" If one had been called earlier they would have put this in their press release. They didn't. There is no evidence an ambulance was called earlier

They wanted to say Henry was the aggressor which was only supported by Vicrum and his brother who had both been arrested for murder at this point. What part of this are you not getting?

In the face & his eye was swollen. In the video and mugshot you can see there is not a mark on him. They didn't even bother to knock on the door of the flats they were stood outside to see if anyone had heard anything. This is basic policing.

@WillKingston If you read local reports at the time from @dailyecho it says there was an altercation between Henry and two other men which is suggesting he attacked the brother as well which Hants police knew to be untrue and never tried to correct

I’m stunned. The Sunday Times is reporting Hampshire police wanted to portray Henry Nowak as the aggressor in an official statement three days after his death, but changed their wording following outrage from his family.
