Jack Smith told the Senate what the evidence showed: Donald Trump lost the 2020 election, then criminally worked to overturn it — pressuring officials, organizing fake electors, and inciting the attack on the Capitol.

Instead of facing that record, too many Republicans in Congress chose party over country and attacked Jack Smith.
