The House of Commons is stunned into silence upon realizing the Finance Minister, Chrystia Freeland, doesn't know the difference between income taxes and capital gains.
@JyotiGondek@mybowness Why would we need to tackle it together?
City Infrastructure is your job and you failed to do it
All those pride flags, rainbow crosswalks, and bike lanes look great though
Who needs water, right?
Pediatric nurse Tawny Buettner had worked in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) of a major children’s hospital for more than a decade. Early on, she witnessed inconsistencies in statements being made about Covid-19 that informed her decision not to comply to the healthcare worker vaccine mandates. She was fired. Hear her first hand account of being on the front lines.
The Freeland files…..
“This account freeze initiative actually was successful”
“Give the banks a list of mischief makers”
“Use military….” Can’t make out the rest 🤦♀️🤷♀️
019: Welcome to another episode of "Dialogue over Division." Today, we are joined by @FergHodgson, an independent economic consultant with an impressive background. Fergus is the former editor-in-chief of the PanAm Post and has served as the director of fiscal policy studies at the John Locke Foundation in North Carolina. He holds a BA in economics and a graduate diploma in political science.
In this episode, we delve into the critical importance of understanding government actions as self-interested individuals and how that impacts us both individually and as a nation. We examine how Ottawa-centric media has contributed to the distorted nature of information in the country. Throughout, Fergus emphasizes the significance of promoting personal sovereignty and the crucial role of civic engagement.
We also explore the factors that led to Canada's current state, including the events leading up to the 2022 trucker convoy—a pivotal moment when many Canadians reached their limits. Many viewed the COVID-19 mandates as the last straw amid rising living costs, indebtedness, taxes, and vanishing opportunities and civil liberties, uniting in the common cause against government overreach.
Recently, Fergus co-authored the book "Financial Sovereignty for Canadians," available on Amazon. This book, co-authored with Paz Gómez, assists those looking to take direct action and circumvent illiberalism. It details Canada's economic trajectory, explains how to protect your independence, and offers escapes from the status quo.
Join us for an enlightening conversation that sheds light on the economic and political dynamics shaping Canada today.
The lessons I derive from my little adventure with mask fanatics:
1) Twitter is a traitor, so always be careful. I posted dozens of posts like the one that triggered this avalanche with no more reactions than a couple of nods from like-minded people who knew exactly what I meant and didn't see anything malicious in it, as indeed there wasn't. And all of a sudden, bingo: my post ended in the self-righteous indignant camp that tore it to pieces. Well done for the algorithm.
2) It's hard to be always elegant and above the fray, and I plead guilty of not always maintaining the standard as high as I wished it to be. Life is a learning curve...
3) It is impossible to lead any discussion with people who are absolutely convinced that you only want their death.
4) People who are convinced you want their death will go to any length to vilify you - all the while cloaking themselves in moral virtue.
5) The general invisibility of the suffering of others when one is convinced to be in danger is one of the characteristics of humanity that makes me despair the most.
6) In any social situation, a cohort of cowards is at the ready to jump on the lynching bandwagon and feel good about themselves.
7) It is therefore uncannily easy to manipulate people and turn them against one another.
8) The human relish at expressing hate makes me want to vomit.
9) And yet, in every social situation you will always find a small minority of people who soldier on and resist the call for dehumanization - bless them.
10) It will take decades to overcome this Covid morass. If we ever do.
Nothing says "The Science (tm)" more than Biden lawyers preventing former NIH boss and gain of function proponent Francis Collins from answering questions under oath about a lab leak that likely launched the covid era.
Why come to a country like Canada to protest things happening in other countries? Protesting for another country here is going to accomplish nothing but pissing people off.
Exclusive: Tamara Lich and Chris Barber are back together after a court victory over an order that prevented contact without lawyers present. It's our first Coffee With the Convoy since they were arrested over two years ago. The reunion has been joyful. Do please retweet in my fight against the censorship goblins. Comment on my SS, too.

I will no longer be using the terms “anti- /pro- / Palestine/Israel.” These terms are crafted by the establishment to divide us and characterize the interests of Palestinians and Israelis as antithetical to each other. I capitulated because frankly it makes discourse easier, especially on Twitter, but I’m convinced the language itself poisons the dialogue and turns people against each other
At least we were lucky enough to experience many hours of banter between Jordan Peterson and Rex Murphy - that Bret Hart versus Owen Hart dream match of great Canadian intellectualism normally reserved to a squared circle in heaven.
