A year of growing my web apps.
I really, really don't care about the $6300. What I care about is the trend. Trend keeps moving up and to the right?
I'm happy. What's this look like 2, 3, 4 years from now? Actual life changing SaaS income? TBD.
Marketing.. 100% SEO..
@ThePrimeagen Simple repetitive stuff that is token intensive. I use it for translations/localization stuff.
Opus etc when writing translation files destroys budget. Sonnet is good
@hedderichpro@zacodil Was it expanded by their own decision?
Or were they forced to by the government they operate under?
(its the latter)
Do we get mad at companies that follow restrictions placed upon them by the government? Or, are people expecting them to just go rogue?
@viiskb@zacodil To answer your question
A lot of people will spend $ on the premium item
its why ferrari, mclaren, lexus etc exist
if you want to shop toyota exclusively, go ahead
The suffering you're talking about i think maybe is overstated. I'm not suffering
@viiskb@zacodil GLM-5.2 being equivalent to opus/fable is one of those things people keep repeating, but isn't actually true
GLM-5.2 isn't even as good as sonnet. It is cheaper though, yes - about 50% of the cost .
If you optimize for price over quality, sure, GLM-5.2 is best for you
@zacodil Agreed. People have every right to rebrand engagement farming as "user feedback" if the algorithm rewards it - even if it is unfair negative PR to a company that's been the most transparent by far of those in their category
Reduced refunds on my one time purchase product from an avg ~8/mo down to ZERO.
TLDR on how: I added a "not happy?" flow to the product, which offers users a chance to re-do the service.
But before they can, they have to click a checkbox that refunds are void if they do.
