Hon’ble Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri @PiyushGoyal , addressed the Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO) Business Plenary alongside the UK Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade , Mr Jonathan Reynolds, reaffirming the shared commitment to strengthening economic ties between India and the United Kingdom.

The India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) marks a significant milestone in bilateral relations, creating new avenues for trade, investment and collaboration by bringing together India’s manufacturing capabilities, digital infrastructure and young talent with the UK’s strengths in research, advanced technology, innovation and financial services.

The discussions underscored immense opportunities for collaboration across key sectors, including infrastructure, clean energy, advanced manufacturing, supply chains, technology, healthcare and financial services.

Businesses, manufacturers, innovators and startups from both nations have an important opportunity to deepen investments, forge strategic partnerships and unlock new avenues of growth.

**A Legacy That Lives On: Remembering Late Shri P.C. Singhal Ji**

Today, the world speaks the language of incubation, angel investment, mentorship, and venture ecosystems. But true pioneers were shaping these ideas long before they became industry vocabulary.

On this day, August 31, 2000, we lost a profound visionary — my father, Late Shri P.C. Singhal Ji.

As early as 1956, decades before "startup incubation" entered common language, he was already nurturing, training, mentoring and funding aspiring entrepreneurs. He gave capital and resources without ever taking equity — driven entirely by social upliftment and nation-building. A lifetime of quiet philanthropy that set the standard for purpose-driven leadership.

To honour his memory today, and to carry his mission forward, we are proud to announce a national initiative built on his foundational vision:

🚀 **The "One Student, One Startup" Mission — S³E²**

Grounded in the belief that grassroots entrepreneurship drives sustainable economic growth, this mission will equip the next generation of founders with the tools, mentorship and backing they need to build real ventures.

We are honored to welcome Mr. Teruaki Watanabe (Japan) as an investor in our patented green mobility technology. The investment agreement has been successfully executed, and the investment amount of INR 1 million has been received in our bank account.

This milestone reflects growing international confidence in India’s innovation ecosystem and in our world-first patented hybrid green mobility technology.

The recent engagement between the Hon’ble Prime Ministers of India 🇮🇳 Shri Narendra Modi ji and H.E Sanae Takaichi Japan 🇯🇵 has further strengthened the strategic partnership between our two nations.
