Petrol and diesel prices have been increased by the Noon government by Rs 15 per litre each to Rs 415 per litre. The entire increase in both has been due to increase in levy and taxes. Not due to any increase in prices.

For petrol now we pay levy of Rs 120 per litre and for diesel Rs 45 per litre. In addition we pay about Rs 30 per litre as custom for diesel and Rs 20 as duty for petrol. So about 33% of the what you pay for petrol and 16% for diesel goes to the government.

Don’t let the government say that they are not passing on the total burden on the people and undertaking any austerity. The entire burden of price increases plus even more taxes are now being charged to the people.

سینکڑوں پولیس والے یہاں پھیلے ہوئے ہیں۔ اس شہر کے یہ حالات تو پاک بھارت جنگ میں بھی نہیں تھے۔

اس وقت ہر سڑک ہر گلی ہر گھر بند ہے۔ خدانخواستہ ان مکینوں کو ایمرجنسی ہو جائے تو وہ ہسپتال تک نہیں پہنچ سکتے۔ آپ اپنے گھر سے باہر نہیں نکل سکتے کہ ہر طرف کنٹنیررز سے راستے بند ہیں، گلیاں تک بند ہیں۔ سڑکیں بند ہیں۔

آپ کے گھر کے آگے تین تین مسلح سپاہی کھڑے کر دیے گیے ہیں۔ آپ جلوس کو سیکورٹی ضرور دیں لیکن ہم ہزاروں مکینوں کا کیا قصور ہے جو گھروں میں قید ہو کر رہ گئے ہیں۔ پولیس گاڑیاں مسلسل ہوٹر بجا رہی ہیں۔

ابھی میں پارلیمنٹ اجلاس کے لیے گھر سے نکلا(وزیراعظم/وزیرداخلہ تو خیر پارلیمنٹ جاتے تک نہیں) تو سپاہیوں نے کہا ہر جگہ لاک ہے۔ آپ کہیں نہیں جا سکتے۔ واپس گھر لوٹ گیا۔

جلوس کے انتظامات پہلے ب��ی ہوتے تھے لیکن اس دفعہ جو ہر قدم پر کنٹینرز کھڑے کر کے سب کو قید کیا گیا ہے یہ پہلے نہیں ہوتا تھا۔

ہر ماہ کنٹینرز کی تعداد میں اضافہ ہوتا جارہا ہے۔ جو کنٹینرز ایکسپورٹ/امپورٹ کے لیے استمعال ہونے تھے وہ اس وقت پچھلے 14 سال سے اسلام آباد کی سڑکوں پر کھڑے ہیں۔ ہر حکومت اور وزیرداخلہ کے کام آتے ہیں۔ ہم بزنس نہیں کررہے لہذا ہر سال سعودیوں/امارات/چین سے ڈالروں کی بھیک مانگتے ہیں کیونکہ ہمارے تجارتی کنٹنیرز یہاں چودہ برس سے اسلام آباد کی سڑکوں پر مستقل کھڑے ہیں جنہیں بندرگاہ پر ہونا چاہئیے تھا۔ ان کنٹنیرز کا روزانہ کا لاکھوں کا کرایہ بھی ہم عوام کے ٹیکس سے دیا جارہا ہے۔

2012 سے اس شہر نے ان کنٹینرز کا راج دیکھا جو وقت کے ساتھ بڑھتا ہی چلا گیا۔ اب محسن نقوی/علی رضوی کے دور میں اپنے عروج پر پہنچ چکا ہے۔
اس وقت جی سکس /ایف سکس اور ریڈ زون سے پہلے پہلے کم از کم ڈیرھ دو سو کنٹینرز صرف چند کلومیٹر کے دائرے میں پارک ہیں اور ہزاروں مکین گھروں میں قید ہیں۔
ملک کے وزیراعظم یا وزیر/افسران خود آرام سے ہیں, سیر سپاٹے ہو رہے ہیں جبکہ ہزاروں لوگ جلوس کی حفاظت کے نام پر اس وقت سرکاری قید میں ہیں۔
