Apparently, Lamine was a bright-eyed boy until he held up a Palestine flag. Then, he became controversial.
The journalists who make a living romanticising athletes like Muhammad Ali are the first to punish those who try to use their voice for something meaningful today.
Wes Streeting released private WhatsApp messages between him and Peter Mandelson.
Wes privately admitted that Isreal was committing a war crime. He only published this thinking that it would make him look good, but it actually does the opposite.
Good to see Niall McConnell is still uploading videos of his arse being handed to him in 2026. Fair play to that man in Letterkenny he's an absolute legend. Things you love to see all day every day, twice on Sunday!
⚡️Iran: Flammable materials were thrown at teenagers present in the mosque
🔹 CCTV cameras of a mosque in Sabzevar show a rioter throwing flammable materials into the entrance of a mosque; while several teenagers were present in the mosque.
It's worth remembering that, as he cast his vote in last year's presidential election, Maduro shouted "long live free Palestine!"
His opponent, Maria Corina Machado, said that "Israel's struggle is our struggle."
"The Romans occupied England in the 5th century, so anyone of Roman descent has a historical claim to the land."
It's one of the best sketches I've ever seen, it is so accurate and highlights the situation in Palestine.
The world moved on the moment this fiction of a ceasefire was announced, turning away from the ongoing catastrophic consequences of over two years of genocide.
This is the danger of framing it as a ‘war’ - it assumes the horror ends with a pause.
This video is a microcosm of how October 7 has been discussed and deliberately misframed.
If the Palestinian man had reacted at all, even in basic self-defense, the Israeli would’ve shot him on the spot and faced little to no consequence. That asymmetry is the operating reality; it’s not hypothetical.
What this footage captures is only a drop in an ocean of violence Palestinians have been subjected to for nearly eight decades. Yet when October 7 happened, the focus wasn’t on the daily, structural violence that preceded it (the settler who runs someone over, the soldier who humiliates, or the system that enables it all). Instead, the focus was placed squarely on the Palestinian who reacts, as if reaction exists in a vacuum.
That’s what this video exposes. One side’s permitted to brutalize, terrorize, and endanger lives in full view of the world, while the other’s expected to endure it quietly. If they don’t, they’re killed and then blamed for their own death.
Never would I have imagined seeing European leaders turn against their own citizens-crushing protest, free journalism, academic freedom-all to avoid holding a genocidal state to account.
Yet History rarely announces itself as barbarism; it often arrives disguised as civilization.
What happened today in Silwan in East Jerusalem is unbelievable. A family had their home unjustly condemned by the municipality. Hours before a scheduled discussion between the city prosecutor and the residents' attorney—an eleventh-hour meeting that might have spared thirteen families from losing everything—the bulldozers were already on their way to Silwan.
The families woke to the sound of fists and steel at 4:30 a.m., police and city-hired contractors forcing their way through doors in the dark, ordering everyone out. There was shouting and chaos in the narrow stairwells as residents begged for time to collect their belongings. Instead, they were told: Take only your money and gold. The rest—clothes, photographs, children’s toys, lifetimes of furniture and mementos—was left behind.
If that isn't bad enough, the evicted family was attacked, by individuals working for teh city as contractors. They threw stones at neighbors and physically assaulting a man who tried to protest.
The police came to break it up but only arrested Arabs, of course. The building’s four stories, where thirteen families had tried for years to earn a permit and build a future, were reduced to rubble. Those who beat them as they lost everything went home happy while those who tried to defend them were arrested.
An apartheid state.
Dave Chappelle said that if he ever says “I stand with Israel,” it should be taken as a sign that he’s been co-opted.
He added that his biggest fear is being co-opted, and he doesn’t want what happened to Charlie Kirk to happen to him.
"Palestine is a word as old as literacy itself."
As we reflect on some of our most fascinating conversations of 2025, this insight from @DalrympleWill, speaking live to @AyoCaesar, remains one to remember.
🇵🇰 NO COURTROOM, NO DEFENSE, NO JUSTICE: IMRAN KHAN AND HIS WIFE SENTENCED TO 17 YEARS IN JAIL
In yet another blow from the Pakistani establishment, Imran and his wife Bushra Bibi have been sentenced to a further 17 years in prison each over gifts they legally received while in office.
The Toshakhana 2 case accused them of “selling” Saudi state gifts - watches, diamonds, and jewelry - in 2021. But no due process, no transparency, and no real defense was allowed.
The trial? Held inside prison at Adiala Jail. The judge? Delivered the verdict straight to their cell. Imran is being kept in solitary confinement, and his sons say they fear for his life.
This is political persecution - plain and simple. Imran is a political prisoner, targeted for daring to challenge Pakistan’s powerful military-backed elite.
He’s already serving time in the Al-Qadir Trust case, another trial critics call a sham.
The message from the state is clear: challenge the system, and it will crush you.
